Book Discussion
The book discussion is always optional, however, it’s an excellent opportunity to consider concepts of yoga beyond what’s happening in shapes like Downward Facing Dog. If you do want to join the discussion, we’ll gather on Sundays 6:15-7pm CT on the following evenings:
March 28 | April 4 | April 11 | April 25 | May 2 | May 16 | May 23
For this round of Voyager we’ll discussion The Bhagavad Gita. There are many versions and translations of this text. I highly recommend Eknath Easwaran’s version.
Please dive in whenever you’re ready! Personally, The Gita has taken many reads for me to feel like I’m only scraping the surface. I know for a fact that seven discussion sessions will not be a enough time to truly unpack the text.
This Medium article provides a brief history and overview of the text to provide you with some insight.
