BACKBENDS & BREATHWORK

Backbends & Breathwork will consist of four 75-minute practices with each session focusing on ways to lengthen, strengthen, and prepare the body for backbending shapes while exploring various breathing techniques (pranayama). Expect to play with variations of Bridge, Camel, Bow, Dancer, and Wheel. Steady, rhythmic breathing will accompany a flow section of practice and every session will end with guided rest and pranayama.

All practices will be recorded and available for your to view and download until April 15, 2023. Recordings are posted approximately 48 hours after the live practice.

RECOMMENDED PROPS

2 blocks | strap/belt | blanket/towel | wall space | something comfortable to sit on/meditation cushion

Please note that having your Zoom camera on is 100% optional. Those who choose to have their cameras on will have the opportunity to receive practice feedback and might be seen on the video recordings.
