I’ve taken a handful of classes with Erin and have participated in workshops she has offered in the past. What I love most about her classes is her focus on the individual components that make up a shape. I appreciated having postures broken down into subtler, simpler movements. I could observe parts of my body that were often obscured by my desire to attain a certain posture. Erin’s classes pique my curiosity about my body in a way that’s different than some of the other ways I move and practice self-inquiry (I.e. Ashtanga yoga). It’s the curiosity she’s awakened in me that helps me teach others.

I have been taking Erin's class for a few years now, and even as a fellow yoga instructor, I am always learning new things in her classes.
